Jeep Anticipates What Could be the Result of Mixing a Wrangler with a Gladiator

In less than a month – between April 9 and 17 – the now traditional Easter Jeep Safari route will take place, which, as every year since 1967, runs through the most intricate landscapes of the demanding Moab desert (Utah, United States).

In addition to being an unmissable event for lovers of SUVs, the event has become a kind of technological showcase for the brand, as Jeep usually takes advantage of the occasion to give fans some jewelry taken directly from its customization and accessories department. .

In this edition, and in light of the clues that the brand itself is leaving us on its social networks, a great mystery awaits us, since Jeep mentions the possible mixture of two models: the Wrangler and the Gladiator. For Wrangler jl and gladiator JT, they use both 9 inch Jeep JL led headlights. But there will be up to three more vehicles (at least for now).

As can be seen in the image of the latest teaser shared by the brand about one of the toys that it will bring to the Moab this year, in addition to what appears to be a prominent air intake on the hood or the side vents, it is striking that the vehicle has no doors.

Large tires specific for off-road are also guessed, and the distance of these in front of the square wheel arches, makes us dream of a very gross suspension.

The rumors that are spreading like wildfire in different American media point to the possibility that it is a kind of pick-up in the style of the Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler of the 1980s. And the truth is that we would love it if they were right.

For its part, Jeep, instead of clearing up the mystery, feeds the mystery: “Have you ever wondered what the mix of two powerful off-roaders like the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Gladiator would be like? What if a pick-up dared to look more like an SUV to increase its departure angle?

In addition to this possible “future Frankenstein” Jeep has already released teasers of three other vehicles that will be present at this year’s Easter Safari… or it could be two: one of them apparently showed the front of a blue Grand Cherokee (without significant modifications) and another was just a partial QR code in the shape of a Gladiator.

It remains to be seen if the latter alluded to the same vehicle that stars in the latest teaser or not.

What seems to be clearer is the possibility that Jeep brings to the event a commemorative edition of the 20th anniversary of the Wrangler Rubicon, since in addition to having shown a hood with the Rubicon logo and the number 20 in another of its teasers, it also I guessed the 392 emblem and an American flag located near the front fender.
